Euni

Born and raised in Baja California, I grew up in the kitchen and developed a passion for food at an early age through my parents' home-based business. It wasn’t until my teenage years that I transitioned from home cooking to my first experiences in a professional kitchen in Tijuana. At 17, I moved to Oaxaca to study at Le Cordon Bleu, completing internships in Peru and the Basque Country. I worked in various states across Mexico, with restaurants like Origen, Pangea, Alcalde, and Deckman’s en el Mogor becoming both schools and key influences in my fine dining career upon my return to Baja. Today, my culinary philosophy is rooted in sustainability, organic ingredients, and deep respect for the product. I am dedicated to "adventurous and wild cuisine" because I believe it is a truly authentic way to create a creative and honest hospitality experience, deeply connected to nature.

Kevin Bañuelos

Kevin Bañuelos was born and raised in Baja, a place that shaped his love for adventure, travel, and the rich culinary traditions of the region. His passion for exploration and creativity naturally led him to a career where he could combine these elements. Today, he works as a sous chef and mixologist for Legends Overlanding, where he brings his expertise to the table, crafting unforgettable dining and cocktail experiences for travelers seeking the beauty of Baja.

From an early age, Kevin was drawn to the art of cooking. At just 17, he began his culinary journey, working in various restaurants across Ensenada. It was there that he honed his skills, learning the techniques and flavors that would later define his approach to food. His time in the kitchen allowed him to experiment, refine his craft, and develop a deep appreciation for the culture and ingredients that make Baja cuisine so special.

His journey took a new turn when he stepped behind the bar. What started as an extension of his hospitality career soon became a profound passion. The world of mixology fascinated him—blending flavors, balancing aromas, and crafting cocktails that tell a story. He found joy in the artistry and precision required to create drinks that enhance an experience, much like a perfectly plated dish. This realization led him to fully embrace mixology as an essential part of his culinary identity.

Now, at Legends Overlanding, Kevin combines his love for cooking and cocktails with his adventurous spirit. Whether he’s preparing a meal under the open sky or crafting a signature drink that complements the rugged beauty of Baja, his goal remains the same—to create moments that leave a lasting impression. His work is more than just food and drinks; it’s about bringing people together, sharing stories, and making every journey an unforgettable experience.
